About two months ago I received and built my new Eternity Modern Toby Upholstered Storage Bed. I’ve been a huge fan of the brand for a few years now having also received their Tulip table, Flag Halyard Chair, and Mario Bellini couch.

Shipping on all products from Eternity Modern is free on purchases over $1000 in the US and Canada, and it took about 11-12 weeks for the bed to arrive. The wait on the bed wasn’t too long given the current state of the pandemic and their customer service is always great with giving you updates. The delivery happened very smoothly, I received a call to schedule a delivery date and time and the movers helped me get the boxes to my house. I’m not great at building furniture, but it took me about 4 hours to put the bed together with some help. I’d say that the instructions were very clear and straightforward, there were just lot of heavy boxes and parts to maneuver – enlisting friends definitely helped for me!

I’ve been sleeping on the Toby Upholstered Storage Bed for a full two months now and I’m ready to share about how great the experience has been for me. First of all, I got the queen size bed and I really love it. I was slightly worried that the bed frame would be bigger than my old one, taking up more space in the room, but I’m happy to report that the frame is very minimal, I think it takes up even less space than before. The bed is incredibly good quality and super sturdy. I also find that the felt is very strong and easy to clean which I really appreciate. One thing I had to get used to was sleeping higher to the ground, but I got used to it within a day or two and I love how luxe it makes the room feel. I’ve also never had a headboard before, and I never realized how much of a difference it makes for me when I sit up and get cozy to read at night. On a personal note, I’m not a fan at all of footboards because I’m quite tall, so it was a nice bonus that this bed doesn’t have a high one.

I love the colour so much too! The rest of my room is entirely neutral colours, so the bed really accents the room perfectly. I selected the performance felt in the colour natural but the bed also comes in storm and light grey.

The storage space has been such a game changer for me. Organizing my closet to fit all of my summer and fall outfits come wintertime has always been an unbelievable headache for me. No matter how I fold and hang everything, it just gets way too cluttered. I was surprised at how much storage space was actually under the bed, I’ve been able to fit my summer wardrobe and I plan on adding more into the storage space soon. It’s left my closet looking so much more organized. Also the mattress is super easy to pull up when I want to take things out or add to it.

Overall, I’ve really loved my new Toby Upholstered Storage Bed. It’s not only comfy, but it’s given me so much more storage room! I would highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a style and storage upgrade from their old bed.

The team at Eternity Modern and I collaborated on this post for the new Toby Bed. For full transparency, the collaboration was for the complete gifting of the bed, and I’m really grateful to Eternity Modern for this partnership.
